The newly updated XT3 130 boot builds on the esteemed downhill performance of the XT130 Freetour and further improves the uphill capabilities of the boot with an updated walk-mode and an even lighter construction. The all-new Active Power V-Lock mechanism offers an eleven-degree increase in forward range-of-motion for effortless gliding steps while skinning to the top of your objective. This increased mobility helps with efficient skinning more maneuverable kick-turns and a more dexterous feel for traction while boot-packing.While the XT3 makes quick work of technical ascents it's also designed for endless laps of freeriding from the chairlift thanks to an incredible downhill performance. The new XT3's Dual Core Light construction borrows technology from Lange's downhill boots in a lightweight package to harness energy in the shell as the boot flexes for powerful rebound. The updated walk-mode offers a metal-on-metal locking mechanism for complete rigidity in the back of the boot for unwavering support in the cuff. An updated performance boot board implements a polypropylene injected platform for increased shock absorption from impacts to redirect energy away from your feet legs and knees.
